NSW Highways and Byways

Bulahdelah, Pheasants Nest, Jugiong, Gunning; 'these are a few of my favorite things places'. Or it would seem so, I keep returning to stop overnight.

South of Sydney the Hume Highway is without road works and go-slows. The undulating climb to over 700m through rolling hills into Goulburn is picturesque. And on to Wagga Wagga and Narrandera on the Sturt Highway where the traffic seems more normal. South to Lockhart on a minor road, with next to no traffic. Here I find new street art, nice. Minor roads and the back blocks are definitely more interesting. Must have a serious discussion with "she-who-must-be-obeyed" aka The GPS.

Damn! Slept through another one. But they tell me there are ~38 time zones so picking one that suits me better. +2 UTC sounds good. Happy New Year wherever you are.

Lockhart street art.

Lots to see in Lockhart.
